Fashion ‘it’ girl Alexa Chung is doing it, Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester is doing it, it seems everyone in Hollywood has decided to adopt the two tone hair trend (technical name ombre), and, yesterday...it was MY turn!
Now I understand this look isn’t for everyone, it’s a bit of a risk and I have already swallowed the harsh critique of my sister and her boyfriend who labelled my ‘do’ - ‘trailer trash.’
To me, two – tone hair colour is extremely fresh and modish and one of those things you can only understand and accept if you are a consumer of the latest fashion scoop. Although to most, it looks as if you have a serious case of regrowth and need your roots touched up ASAP, to me it is reminiscent of my childhood. Remember those summer holidays where you would play all day at the beach and come home with sunkissed, golden locks cascading down your face.
Subtle graduations on beachy highlights... a MUST for this summer.

You should definitely try! especially if you are dark already! It's so easy - make sure it's subtle though! There is a line between hot and not so hot ahha
